Val de Morteau – Watchmaking Country

Val de Morteau is the official starting point for the cross-country skiing GTJ, which links Meix-Musy to Giron (Ain) with its 200 km and its 4,400 metres of ascending elevation. Enter the realm of cross-country skiing where you can also cross the French-Swiss skiing border on foot. You also have the chance to do some alpine skiing, snowshoe hiking and plenty of other snow sports at this family-friendly resort with the slopes of Meix-Musy, Chauffaud and Bonade. Easy slopes accessible to beginners, as well as more technical ones await. You may even have the chance to admire the Doubs basins when they freeze over.
