HistoireS de RésistanceS : randonnée commentée du sentier du Maquis, sur le Plateau de Retord

Follow in the footsteps of the Maquis of the Plateau de Retord in the spring of 1943, in the company of Florence, guide and lecturer, and Sylvain, mountain leader. The Maquis of the Ain, their military organisation and the daily life of these men will be told to you with many anecdotes. This tour requires good mid-mountain walking skills and hiking boots. You should also bring a bottle of water. Tours must be booked in advance with the Tourist Office. Maximum 30 participants per tour. Payment must be made on registration. The meeting point will be specified at the time of registration. Visits may be cancelled due to weather conditions and if the minimum number of participants is not reached. To complete your visit, go to the Musée de la Résistance et de la Déportation de l'Ain in Nantua 04.74.75.07.50 (open Wednesday to Monday, self-guided tour from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm / groups by prior arrangement).
