Visite guidée "Vieu secret : de l'aqueduc romain à la source du Groin"

-

You will start your walk along the water to go up to the Source du Groin, a geological curiosity labelled as a Sensitive Natural Area of the Ain. Accompanied by a nature guide from the Maison du marais, this small green setting will reveal all its riches. Then, following in the footsteps of Florence, a guide from the Tourist Office, you will discover Vieu, an important Gallo-Roman vicus of the Valromey, containing many architectural treasures from various periods: underground aqueduct, 11th century church, fountain and chapel of Adoue and the gentleman's residence of the famous Belleysan gastronome. From one heritage to another... In partnership with the Maison du Marais. This visit requires a habit of walking on paths as well as the wearing of hiking boots. You should also bring a hat and a bottle of water. Guided tours on reservation at the Tourist Office. The exact place of the meeting will be communicated to you at the time of registration. Visits may be cancelled due to weather conditions and if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
